A young man named Naresh, who worked for the Hyderabad Metro, died by suicide at his home. He was on a video call with his pregnant wife, Nityasri, who was visiting her family.
Naresh and Nityasri had been married for a year and were expecting a child. Nityasri had recently gone to her parents’ house for a ceremony. According to the police, the couple had been arguing about Nityasri staying with her family and other issues.
During the video call, Naresh tied a noose around his neck and hanged himself from the ceiling fan, all while Nityasri watched in horror on the phone. Her family immediately alerted the police. Naresh’s body was taken to the hospital for examination.
The police are investigating the situation.
