Hyderabad: Two trains collide in Kacheguda, 30 injured

An MMTS and Kongo express collided with each other near Nimboli Adda of Kacheguda on Monday. As per the early reports coming in, about 30 passengers are said to have suffered injuries. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident occurred when an MMTS train rammed into Kongu express waiting at the platform. The mishap is learned to have occurred due to signaling fault. The railway authorities re-scheduled some trains due to the accident and are removing the bogies from the track. Several train services on the line were badly hit due to the incident.
