Hyderabad is gearing up for some much-needed relief from the scorching heat as Western disturbances alter the weather patterns in the region. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts a substantial spell of rain from March 19 to 20, offering respite from the hot weather.
The IMD anticipates thunderstorms across the State during this period, with Hyderabad likely to experience Summer Rains. This shift in weather dynamics is attributed to a trough extending from east Vidarbha to north Tamil Nadu, influencing the lower atmosphere and bringing isolated rainfall over Telangana until March 20.
Furthermore, the IMD indicates a low likelihood of a heatwave in Telangana until March 20. Cloudy skies are expected over Hyderabad for the next five days, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius.
