Technology Hub Opened by IMMO in Chennai
London-based prop-tech platform IMMO has announced the establishment of a Technology Hub in Chennai, India. It provides institutional investors with access to detailed residential real estate information and offers an integrated tech platform that covers market intelligence, real estate sourcing, lettings, and property management, consolidating functions typically handled by various providers or manually.
The newly opened Technology Hub, located at Tek Meadows IT Park on Old Mahabalipuram Road, will accelerate the development of IMMO’s proprietary technology platform and support the company’s global expansion. The hub, which began operations last year, currently employs 50 professionals in engineering, product, and support roles, focusing on areas such as business intelligence, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Shanmugam (Shan) Nagappan, an experienced technology industry executive, has been appointed as the Managing Director for India and will oversee the growth and operations of the Technology Hub. Prior to joining IMMO, Shan held leadership positions at Replicon India, OEC, and Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions, where he successfully established and expanded technology and global operations hubs across multiple Indian cities.
