India is being destroyed by PM Modi’s hubris
During a discussion on a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Congress party, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi by likening his arrogance to that of Ravana, the mythological figure from the Ramayana. Rahul Gandhi stated that just as Ravana’s arrogance led to Lanka’s destruction, PM Modi’s arrogance was causing harm to India.
He clarified that he was not comparing Lord Ram or Lord Hanuman to anyone, but he was emphasizing the destructive impact of arrogance. He made these comments while supporting the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha.
He recounted his experience of undertaking the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” (Unite India Journey), where he initially underestimated the physical challenges. He admitted that his initial arrogance was erased by the difficulties he faced during the journey, symbolizing India’s ability to humble and reshape perspectives.
Throughout his speech, Treasury Bench members objected to his comments. However, Rahul Gandhi maintained his stance on addressing arrogance’s negative impact and emphasized his intention to speak from the heart.
