India discovers 54 new cases of COVID-19
India has reported 54 new cases of coronavirus infection, with the total number of active cases being 1,475, as per the updated data from the Union Health Ministry on Monday.
The death toll has reached 5,31,926, according to the data as of 8 a.m. The overall COVID-19 case count in the country has reached 4.49 crore (4,49,96,653).
The count of individuals who have recovered from the virus has risen to 4,44,63,252, resulting in a national recovery rate of 98.81 percent, as stated on the health ministry‘s official website.
The case fatality rate remains at 1.18 percent. The health ministry’s website indicates that a total of 220.67 crore Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the country thus far.
