India reclaimed the top position in the points table of the men’s FIH Hockey Pro League after defeating Argentina 3-0. The victory came through a strong second-half performance, with goals from Harmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas, and Abhishek.
After losing a couple of matches in London, India bounced back by defeating Belgium and Great Britain. In the match against Argentina, India dominated the first half but couldn’t score. However, Harmanpreet Singh broke the deadlock with a powerful drag in the third quarter, extending his lead as the tournament’s top scorer.
Amit Rohidas added another goal with a great drag flick, and Abishek sealed the victory with a counterattack goal. The Indian team credited their solid defense and ball control for the win. With 27 points from 14 matches, India now leads the points table, followed by Great Britain.
