Here are some of the biggest buys so far:
- Mitchell Starc: The Australian pacer is the most expensive player ever sold at the IPL auction, going to Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping 24.75 crore rupees!
- Pat Cummins: The World Cup-winning captain was also in high demand, fetching the second-best bid of 20.50 crore rupees from Sunrisers Hyderabad.
- Rovman Powell: The West Indies batsman was the first capped batter to go up for auction, and he was snapped up by Rajasthan Royals for 7.40 crore rupees.
- Wanindu Hasaranga: The Sri Lankan all-rounder was a surprise steal for Sunrisers Hyderabad, going for his base price of 1.50 crore rupees.
