The IT- Income Tax department conduced searches on people related to Phantom Films over allegations of tax evasion. According to the latest report, IT department conduced raids on Taapsee Pannu and the film maker Anurag Kashyap and Vikas Bahl’ residence.
Residence of producer Madhu Mantena, who also runs a talent management company, was also searched. The IT department is conducting searches on the other people related to Phantom Films over allegations of tax evasion.
IT raids are being conducted in 20 other locations apart from the residences of these celebrities in Mumbai, Pune and several other places, including the premises of the Phantom Films. The IT department has alleged tax evasion as the reason behind the raids.
Few days ago, Taapsee Pannu who is well known face for the Tollywood and Bollywood, had announced on social media platform Instagram that she was reuniting with her ‘Thappad’ co-star Pavail Gulati for Anuragh Kashyap’s upcoming thriller ‘Dobaaraa’.
The upcoming film Dobaaraa is Taapsee Pannu’s third collaboration with the film maker Anurag Kashyap after the ‘Manmarziyaan’ which was released in 2018 and the drama ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ which was co produced by Taapsee Paanuu.
‘Dobaaraa’ is written by Nihit Bhave, who had earlier penned Anuragh Kashyap’s 2020 Netflix movie ‘Choked’.
