In recent times, small-budget films have been breaching the million-dollar mark in the overseas, specifically in the US. If it is a star hero flick, premier alone is crossing the million-dollar mark. Though Agnyaathavaasi ended as a disaster, the film collected $2 Million in the US. Another Sankranti film, Balakrishna’s Jai Simha too released in the US. But Jai Simha overseas collections literally shocked everyone.

The film failed to cross the $1 Million mark, disappointing Nandamuri fans and trade experts. It was really humiliating to see a star hero’s film failing to breach the $1 Million mark in the US. The film’s success, in particular, can be attributed to director Krish and the historical theme of the movie.

Though the Jai Simha overseas collections can be debated, there is latest figures Telugu Bullet brought to you. The film has fared quite well in both the Telugu states, given the budget and hype around the film. Jai Simha collections stand at Rs. 25.34 crores at the end of 10 days.
