Janhvi Kapoor’s Growing Presence in South Cinema
After her debut in NTR “Devara,” Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is set to star in two more major projects in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Her increasing presence in the South is gaining attention, and her consecutive signings in significant projects mark a promising start. Boney Kapoor, in a recent interview, confirmed that Janhvi has secured roles in films alongside Suriya and Ram Charan.
Suriya Starrer ‘Karna’: A Pan-India Epic
The first project with Suriya is titled “Karna,” directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, set to be shot in multiple parts for a pan-India release. Janhvi Kapoor is rumored to portray the character of Draupadi in this adaptation of Mahabharata, focusing on the life of Karna, with Suriya in the lead role.
Ram Charan’s Sports Drama: A Village Tale
The second film, featuring Ram Charan, is directed by Buchi Babu and is scheduled to commence filming this summer. With a massive budget of 300 crores, it’s positioned as one of the largest pan-India films, centered around a sports-based drama set in a village backdrop.
