Date:

Telugu movie lovers won’t have to miss out on the excitement of new releases this Diwali, even though there are no Telugu movies hitting the theaters this weekend. Two dubbed Tamil films, Raghava Lawrence’s Jigarthanda DoubleX and Japan, are set to release tomorrow, keeping moviegoers entertained during the diwali festive season.

Jigarthanda DoubleX is the sequel to the popular 2014 film Jigarthanda, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The original film was remade in Telugu as Gaddalakonda Ganesh, starring Varun Tej. The story follows the world of filmmaking, and this time, it’s set in the 1970s, giving audiences a glimpse into the past.

Judging by the promotional materials released so far, Japan promises to be an entertaining movie ride. Karthi has developed a dedicated fan base in Telugu states following his role as Dilli in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Moreover, most of Karthi’s films have performed well in Telugu, establishing a strong connection with the audience.

The Telugu audience is already familiar with Karthi’s dialect in the film and is eagerly anticipating the actor’s comedic performance. Japan is essentially a one-man show led by Karthi, and his presence is sure to make it a memorable cinematic experience.

With its interesting story, retro setting, and talented cast, Jigarthanda DoubleX and Japan are sure to be a hit among Telugu audiences. So, if you’re looking for some cinematic entertainment this Diwali, head to the theaters to catch Jigarthanda DoubleX or Japan.
