Jr NTR’s Next Move After War 2: Strong Buzz Around Kantara 3
As Jr NTR gears up for his much-awaited Bollywood debut in War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani, anticipation is at an all-time high. The action-packed thriller is set to hit theatres in just 10 days, and fans can’t wait to watch Tarak in a new avatar.
But even before the film’s release, Jr NTR’s future projects are grabbing headlines. The latest buzz? A potential entry into the Kantara franchise.
According to industry rumors, NTR is being considered for Kantara 3, the next installment in the cult Kannada series directed by Rishab Shetty. While there’s been no official confirmation, the speculation gained traction due to NTR’s growing friendship with Rishab. If it materializes, this would mark NTR’s Kannada cinema debut, making him a true pan-India superstar.
On the Telugu Front:
-
NTR is currently shooting for Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel (KGF, Salaar).
-
He also has Devara Part 2 lined up, continuing the epic saga after Part 1’s grand success.
Meanwhile, Rishab Shetty recently announced a Telugu–Kannada bilingual under Sithara Entertainments, directed by Ashwin Gangaraju (Aakashavaani). This project is expected to begin once Rishab wraps up Kantara: Chapter 1.
Whether or not Kantara 3 happens with Jr NTR, one thing is clear — Tarak’s reach is expanding beyond Telugu cinema, and fans are here for it.
