JSK: Janaki V vs State of Kerala to Stream on ZEE5 from August 15
Anupama Parameswaran’s bold and controversial courtroom drama JSK: Janaki V vs State of Kerala is making its way to OTT after a challenging theatrical run. The film, which also features Suresh Gopi in a powerful role, is all set to stream on ZEE5 from August 15, 2025, coinciding with Independence Day.
After battling CBFC delays and controversies, JSK released in theatres on July 17, 2025, but received a lukewarm reception from both critics and audiences. Now, with a multi-language OTT debut in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada, the makers are hoping to tap into a wider, pan-Indian viewership.
Directed by J. Phanindra Kumar and produced by Cosmos Entertainments, the film presents a gritty legal battle inspired by real events, with themes that sparked intense debate across Kerala.
The cast includes Shruthi Ramachandran, Divya Pillai, and Madhav Suresh, with music by Ghibran and Gireesh Narayanan. With its OTT release, JSK might finally find the audience it aimed to connect with.
