Kamal Haasan launches party ‘Makkal Needhi Maiam’

Yesterday evening, during the public meeting in Madurai, Kamal Hassan made a big announcement about the name of his political party “Makkal Neethi Maiyam” (People’s Justice Party) and also revealed the party flag. The flag, with a circle of hands holding one another with colors white, black and red) seems to carry a deep message with each color.

Kamal Hassan addressed the large audience that gathered. He said, Tamil Nadu’s land and soul is burning and people of this land are suffering. He also pledged to burn the fingers of the corrupt. He faced the massive presence of the crowd and said that the newly found Makkal Neethi Maiyam is the people’s party. It is here to stay and also bring change that every citizen of Tamil Nadu aspire. He appealed the people to guide his party to serve them. Our party’s main aim is to only serve the people and I can see so many future leaders in the crowd, he said. He also informed that people are infuriated with the corruption that is existing in Tamil Nadu and fed up with corrupt leaders.

Many dignitaries and leaders from various parties have attended Kamal’s Party launch. The 63-year-old told that he will seek each and everyone’s suggestions from the attended leaders. He also thanked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for gracing the occasion.
