Indian cinema is all set for a grand cinematic celebration with Thug Life, the much-awaited gangster drama starring Kamal Haasan. As excitement builds for the film’s theatrical release on June 5, the makers have announced the Thug Life pre release event will be held in Vizag on May 29, adding more fuel to the promotional fire.
Directed by legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam, the film’s first single Jinguchaa—composed by AR Rahman—has already become a chart-topping hit. To keep the hype alive, the team has rolled out a nationwide promotional plan. The trailer is set to launch on May 17, and the much-awaited audio launch will take place on *May 24 in Chennai, featuring a live performance by AR Rahman. Simultaneously, a celebration event will also be held in Hyderabad.
With powerful promotions across major cities and languages, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to establish Thug Life as a major PAN-India blockbuster.
The film features a star-studded cast including Simbu, Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi, Nassar, and Abhirami. Produced under Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies, the project is a joint effort by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth.
