It’s been almost one year that the biopic on Karanam Malleshwari biopic was announced. Debutante Sanjana Reddy is going to direct the movie. MVV Satyanarayana and Kona Venkat are going to bankroll the project. There were speculations that the makers have considered many actresses in the lead role from the likes of Taapsee to Rakul Preet Singh.
It is said to be a Pan-Indian project with the multi-lingual release. However, it is said that the project has got shelved now. The news is that the creative differences has sprouted between the team and the project has been shelved at the writing stage itself. The final draft of the script isn’t being finalized yet and as a result the makers have decided to cancel the entire project.
