The death of a former MLA and senior leader of Karnataka Congress on a bus caused a heart attack.
Gopal Bhandari (66), who won the Congress MLA from Udupi in 1999 and 2008, was rushed to the KSRTC bus and died of a heart attack.
He lived a very ordinary life and took a bus today from Bangalore to Mangalore.
The bus reached Mangalore and he went unconscious the driver noticed.
He was rushed to the nearest hospital.
However, doctors of the police said that Bhandari had already died.
He is known as a man for the poor.
He died of a heart attack.
