The makers have officially revealed the opening weekend numbers, and the figures are staggering. Karuppu has grossed an impressive ₹147 crore worldwide, marking the biggest opening ever for a Suriya film and firmly establishing its dominance.
Momentum shows no signs of slowing down, with Monday collections expected to remain strong thanks to robust advance bookings. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film is a full-on mass entertainer featuring Trisha as the female lead. The pulsating soundtrack is composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film has also been released in Telugu under the title Veerabadhrudu, extending its reach across markets. The box office throne is warm again, and Suriya is very much seated on it.
