The Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandra Sekhara Rao has been the hot topic of the nation on the occasion of the Independence Day.
KCR who has unfurled the National Flag at Golkonda today has announced two major schemes for the state of Telangana, which is raising the eyeballs of the nation. The two major schemes are ‘Kanti Velugu’ which is the free eye screening for all the citizens of Telangana and ‘Rytu Bhima’ the life insurance for farmers of the state.
Under the scheme of ‘Kanti Velugu’, the entire state of Telangana gets benefited with free eye care which includes the free medicines, spectacles, and surgeries as well. This is first of its kind in the world, and the Telangana government is committed to distributing 40 lakh spectacles to the people. Rytu Bhima scheme benefits the farmers providing the life insurance cover of 5 lakh to every farmer.
The government is estimated to cover 28 lakh farmers under this scheme from 18-59 years old. The government has taken the initiative and already paid the annual premium of 2271rs per farmer. This innovative schemes introduced by the KCR has not only surprised the opposition but also grabbed the eyeballs of the nation. With this schemes, KCR is going to be a revolutionary change in the Telangana state.
