Khairatabad Ganesh Immersion Preparations Conclude Successfully:
Preparations for the immersion of Hyderabad‘s tallest Ganesha idol have been completed. The procession for the 63-foot-tall, 50-ton idol commenced early on Thursday morning following special rituals, featuring drums, adorned vehicles, and numerous devoted participants.
Bhagwanth Rao, a member of the Bhagyanagara Utsava Committee, confirmed that all the necessary arrangements have been meticulously put in place for the immersion ceremony. For this purpose, two unique chariots have been transported from Vijayawada. The primary Ganesh idol will be placed on one chariot, while the remaining idols will occupy the other. He emphasized that every effort has been made to ensure all devotees’ safety and active involvement.
Furthermore, Rao mentioned that the immersion of the Ganesha idol is scheduled to take place between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM for Khairatabad Ganesh, a change from last year when it occurred at 6:30 PM. Comprehensive arrangements, including traffic diversions and security measures, have been implemented to facilitate a smooth and secure immersion process.
