Kishan Initiates Trains with Expanded Connectivity:
“On Monday, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy inaugurated four new train services departing from Secunderabad railway station, offering enhanced travel options to distant destinations. These new services include a direct overnight route from Kazipet to Pune, connecting Shadnagar, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, and Kurnool to Jaipur, providing a direct connection from Sedam, Chittapur, Yadgir, and Raichur to Nanded, and offering direct train services from Bodhan to Karimnagar.
During the event, Minister Reddy emphasized that these four new services fulfill longstanding requests from the public, making it possible for travelers to reach various destinations without needing to change trains. Furthermore, Minister Reddy noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has implemented several initiatives to improve rail connectivity in Telangana and across the country.
He mentioned that construction work at the Cherlapalli railway terminal is progressing rapidly and is expected to be completed by January. Simultaneously, similar events were held at Kacheguda, Bodhan, and Tandur railway stations.
At Kacheguda station, MLC A.V.N. Reddy oversaw the proceedings, while Information Minister Dr. Patnam Mahender Reddy and Municipal Chairperson Swapna attended the event at Tandur railway station. Local Municipal Chairperson Padma presided over the event at Bodhan railway station.”
