After a string of underwhelming outings, Mega Prince Varun Tej has finally got some positive news at the box office with his latest release, Korean Kanakaraju. The horror comedy has opened on a promising note, giving the actor a much-needed sigh of relief.
According to the latest update from the makers, Korean Kanakaraju has collected over Rs. 8 crores gross worldwide, including premieres and Day 1, marking a solid opening for the film. In the USA, the movie has grossed around $175K so far.
Considering the film’s theatrical business, maintaining the same momentum over the weekend could put Korean Kanakaraju in a comfortable position. The positive word of mouth is another encouraging factor for the movie, which could help boost its collections in the coming days.
Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film features Ritika Nayak as the female lead, while Satya plays a key role. The horror comedy is jointly produced by First Frame Entertainments and UV Creations.
