To mark the occasion of Sita Navami, the Adipurush team has released the official motion poster of Sita, played by Kriti Sanon. The poster shows Sita in distress, waiting for Lord Rama, played by Prabhas, to come and rescue her.
The highly anticipated mythological drama, Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and simultaneously made in Hindi and Telugu, has been generating a lot of buzz lately. The film is based on the Sanskrit epic Ramayana by Valmiki and is touted to be the most expensive Indian film made to date.
Despite the makers giving very few updates about the project, the recent release of Hanuman posters and a poster for Sree Rama Navami featuring Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, and Lakshmana have been well received by the audience.
The motion poster is quoted as “The righteous saga of Siya Ram.” Kriti Sanon shared the poster on Twitter, along with the film’s lead actors and makers.

Apart from Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage, Sunny Singh, and Vatsal Sheth in pivotal roles. T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations are bankrolling the project, and Ajay-Atul has composed the music for the film.
Adipurush is set to release globally on June 16, 2023, in multiple languages, and will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival 2023, held in New York on June 13th.
