Kuberaa Song Launch: Dhanush, Nagarjuna & Rashmika Light Up Mumbai with ‘Pippi Pippi Dum Dum’
The upcoming pan-Indian film Kuberaa, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, is creating massive buzz for bringing together a powerhouse trio—Dhanush, King Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna—for the very first time.
The third song from the film, “Pippi Pippi Dum Dum,” was officially launched at a grand event in Mumbai. The track, composed by rockstar Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), is a delightful blend of fun and melody, exploring the challenges of married life while celebrating the perks of singlehood.
The event saw the presence of the lead cast—Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika—adding charm and excitement to the evening. Speaking at the launch, Dhanush shared,
“This is a unique film, and I said yes within 20 minutes of narration. Sekhar Kammula is a master storyteller.”
Adding humor to the moment, he quipped,
“If I say I worked hard to become the character, I’d be lying. I just followed Sekhar’s lead. Shooting in a dumpster was tough for me, but Rashmika looked right at home!”
King Nagarjuna also expressed his enthusiasm, saying,
“I’ve waited 15 years to work with Sekhar. This story has finally found its voice. Working with Dhanush and Jim Sarbh has been inspiring. This film will make you laugh, cry, and enjoy every second.”
Produced by Suniel Narang and Pushkar Rammohan Rao on a grand scale, Kuberaa is set for a Pan-India release on June 20th, hitting screens in multiple languages.
