Rajinikanth is currently working on two films, Jailer and Lal Salaam, the latter directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth will also star in the film, which was launched last year, and production is underway.
Although there have been no active updates on the film, the Lal Salaam team released an exciting update for Hero fans today.
They unveiled the first look and character name of the actor from the movie, where he will play Moideen Bhai, set against the backdrop of Mumbai during the Bombay riots. In the first look, Hero is seen as a Muslim with the Gateway of India in the background.

Lyca Productions banner is producing Lal Salaam, and it is being presented by Subaskaran. The film’s music is composed by A R Rahman, while Vishnu Rangasamy is the DOP and B Pravin Bhaskar is handling editing.
On the other hand, the release date of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer has been announced by the makers recently.
