Lava introduces a new device with a glass back finish
Lava, a domestic smartphone brand, has launched an affordable smartphone called ‘Yuva 2.’ Priced at Rs 6,999, the phone comes with a glass back finish, a 5,000mAh battery, and other features. It will be available in three colors: Glass Blue, Glass Lavender, and Glass Green.
The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T606 OctaCore Processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM (expandable with an additional 3GB of virtual RAM). It boasts a 90Hz refresh rate and follows Lava’s new ‘SINK’ Display philosophy, aiming to provide a high screen-to-body ratio and minimal bezels.
The camera setup includes a 13 MP Dual AI Rear Camera and a 5 MP front camera with screen flash. It also features a Side Fingerprint Scanner, Anonymous Auto Call Recording, and Dual Microphones for Noise Cancellation.
The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and comes with a Type-C 10W charger. It runs on Android 12 and offers a clean and bloatware-free Android experience. Lava promises one Android upgrade and quarterly security updates for two years.
To enhance the after-sales experience, Lava provides ‘free service at home’ for customers during the phone’s warranty period, allowing service to be provided at the customers’ doorstep.
