Liquor Stores to Shut for Three Days During Telangana Elections

The Indian Election Commission has instructed the relevant authorities to take the necessary steps to enact a 48-hour full ban on the sale of alcohol and other narcotics within voting places.

All alcoholic beverage establishments, such as wine stores, bars, restaurants, and pubs, will be closed from 5 PM on November 28 until the conclusion of voting on November 30 in anticipation of the state’s assembly polls. Additionally, they will be closed on December 3, the day of the vote count, until it is completed.
