Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is on a dream run at the box office, collecting a massive ₹80 crore in just five days. The Malayalam superhero saga, starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead along with Naslen, is winning appreciation from both critics and audiences.
Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan, the film blends folklore with modern superhero elements. It was also released in Telugu as Kotha Lokah and will soon reach wider audiences with a planned Hindi release.
On the OTT front, there’s no official announcement yet. However, strong buzz suggests that Netflix might have bagged the digital rights for a hefty sum. Given the film’s theatrical momentum, its online premiere could still take some time.
