The box office is buzzing with multiple films performing exceptionally well across regions, especially in North America.

Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Malayalam superhero film Lokah: Chapter 1 continues its rock-steady run into the third week. On Saturday, the movie officially entered the $2 million club, grossing over $30K in the US. Its total now stands at $2.13 million, and the film is ambitiously eyeing the lifetime gross record of Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s L2E: Empuraan.

Meanwhile, the youthful nostalgic romantic drama Little Hearts is turning out to be a surprise winner in the overseas market. The film has already collected $837K in North America and is on track to join the $1 million club within the next few days.

On the other hand, Teja Sajja’s socio-fantasy drama Mirai is off to a sensational start. The movie collected $564K on Saturday, taking its 2-day total to $1.34 million. Early Sunday reports show an impressive $225K by 9 AM PST, which has already pushed Mirai into the $1.5 million club. The film is now marching towards the $2 million milestone at a rapid pace.

With Lokah: Chapter 1, Little Hearts, and Mirai performing exceptionally, the overseas box office is witnessing one of its strongest runs in recent times.
