N. Bhuvaneswari, wife of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, joined her son Nara Lokesh’s ongoing padyatra on its 100th day.
Accompanied by other family members, including Lokesh’s aunt Lokeshwari, they walked alongside him as he resumed his foot march from the campsite in the Srisailam constituency.
During the padyatra, He showed his respect by tying his mother’s shoelace. At Matukuru, a pylon was unveiled to mark the 100th day of the padyatra, named ‘Yuva Galam’ (youth’s voice), with numerous TDP leaders and workers joining the march.
Chandrababu Naidu expressed his wishes to the leader through Twitter, acknowledging the experiences and understanding he gained by being on the road and emphasizing that there is still a long way to go.
Lokesh padyatra:
On January 27, the leader commenced the state-wide padyatra, covering a distance of 4,000 km and spanning 120 Assembly constituencies over 400 days.
Despite the initial tragedy of his cousin, actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, collapsing and subsequently passing away during the pad yatra’s first day due to a cardiac arrest, He has persevered, covering 1,200 km thus far.
