Soori’s Maaman to Stream on Zee5 from August 8 – Official OTT Release Date Out
Actor Soori, known for his versatile performances, scored another box office success with the family drama Maaman. Released alongside Santhanam’s Devil: Double Next Level, Maaman slowly but steadily overtook its competition and emerged victorious despite receiving mixed reviews initially.
The film grossed over Rs. 40 crores in Tamil Nadu, marking Soori’s fourth film to achieve this milestone after Viduthalai Part 1, Garudan, and Viduthalai Part 2.
While fans had been waiting eagerly for its OTT debut, the wait is finally over. Zee5 has officially confirmed that Maaman will start streaming from August 8, 2025.
Directed by Prashanth Pandiyaraj, the film stars Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead, with Swasika, Bala Saravanan, and Viji Chandrasekhar playing key roles. Music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, adding emotional depth to this heartwarming drama.
Produced by K. Kumar under Lark Studios, the movie revolves around family values, generational conflicts, and emotional reconciliation. Although there is no official word yet on whether the film will stream in other languages, more details are expected closer to the release date.
