Director of ‘Macharla Constituency’ Raja Shekhar Reddy approached the police against the internet user. He has filed a complaint against a Twitter troll who he feels is responsible for defaming him.
Nitin’s ‘Machar’s Constituency’, which is slated for a massive release on August 12, will feature him as an IAS officer. However, the film has also been controversial since the old tweets of ‘Macharla’s Constituency’ director M.S. Raja Shekhar went viral two days ago.
With just a few days left for its release, the action-packed drama has become a controversy as the director has been embroiled in an online controversy regarding his political leanings.
The film producer countered that the director had posted inappropriate tweets in the past, but this was not his profile and a fake account had been created in his name. Raja Shekhar Reddy defended himself that the spelling of the above-mentioned handle was also different.
However, internet users mocked it and also highlighted his other tweets in which he trolled Telugu Desam Party leaders, thereby showing his support for YSRCP (the current ruling party of Andhra Pradesh).
Responding to this, the Director of ‘Macharla Constituency’ filed a complaint with Hyderabad Cyber Crime Department. In a written complaint, the director stated that even before the release of his film, some people were trying to create unwanted hatred against him.
The above tweet contained some impermissible language and was anti-caste towards other castes, especially those who contested against YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy lost in Andhra Pradesh Election 2019.

These old tweets were brought to public attention by social media users who questioned the director’s honor and spread such caste hatred by tagging the director and the actor.
