Mad Square, the youthful entertainer directed by Kalyan Shankar, hit the big screens yesterday and is already making waves at the box office. Starring Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin, the film had high expectations, especially after the success of its first installment.
The movie recorded a fantastic opening, collecting a distributor share of Rs. 2.34 crores in Nizam on its first day. For a small-budget film, this is a remarkable achievement. Positive word of mouth and favorable reviews are further driving its momentum, and with the upcoming Eid holiday on Monday, the Mad Square collection is expected to rise significantly.
With a worldwide breakeven target of Rs. 23 crores, the producers Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, are optimistic about its continued success. Priyanka Jawalkar’s impactful role and Bheems Ceciroleo’s music have also added to the film’s appeal.
