In a connection with 2010 Babli project agitation, the Dharmabad court in Maharashtra has issued a non-bailable warrant to the Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.The arrest warrant which has been issued is creating a sensation in both the Telugu states. CBN has participated in the agitation eight years back as an opposition leader of united Andhra Pradesh. Citing that the Babli project will cost and disturb many lives in the downstream of Telangana, the opposition party leader along with some others have participated in agitation near Babli which in-turn has led to the arrest. Later, they were all released without even applying for a bail.
The notice which has come is going to be a blessing in disguise for Telugu Desam Party in Telangana. Issuing an arrest warrant for a chief minister is not a small thing. It will definitely grab the attention of the nation. BJP who has cut the ally with TDP for their personal reasons might have to face the blame of political vendetta.It is heard that CBN is going to attend for the second hearing and this will definitely project CBN once again across the nation. The notice which is served in regard to this will definitely give a much-needed mileage for TDP in state politics as well as central politics.
