Mahavatar Narsimha Continues Its Dream Run, Inches Toward ₹300 Crores.
The animated epic Mahavatar Narsimha is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Even after more than four weeks since its release, the film continues to mesmerise audiences worldwide, proving to be one of the biggest surprise hits of the year.
According to the latest trade reports, Mahavatar Narsimha is on the verge of crossing the ₹300 crore gross mark globally. The Hindi version has been the biggest contributor, with the film already earning ₹173 crores nett, and it is set to breach the ₹175 crore nett milestone very soon.
The film showcased strong momentum in its fifth weekend, collecting an impressive ₹8.68 crores nett. On Saturday alone, collections jumped over 100% compared to Friday, a clear indication of the film’s extraordinary word-of-mouth.
With the Ganesh Chaturthi festival lined up this week, trade experts expect the numbers to rise further, helping the film sustain its golden run.
Directed by Ashwin Kumar and backed by Hombale Films in association with Kleem Productions, Mahavatar Narsimha has redefined the animated film space in India, proving that well-made storytelling can draw massive footfalls even in this genre.
