Tollywood power duo Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh are teaming up for a brand new project, but it’s not a movie! The actors are joining forces to invest in a multiplex in Hyderabad. This isn’t Mahesh Babu’s first foray into the cinema business – he already partnered with Asian Cinemas to launch the successful AMB Cinemas. Now, Venkatesh steps up to the plate!
Asian Cinemas seems to have a knack for roping in big stars for their multiplex ventures. They’ve collaborated with Allu Arjun for AAA Cinemas and Vijay Deverakonda for AVD Cinemas. This time, it’s Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh for a new multiplex at Hyderabad’s RTC Crossroads. Rumors suggest the existing Sudharsha 35MM theater might make way for this project, and the name could be AMB Victory Cinemas, keeping in line with their previous ventures.
Interestingly, Venkatesh’s family already owns multiplex chains across both Telugu states, operated by his brother Suresh Babu. This marks Venky’s personal step into the multiplex game!
On the movie front, Mahesh Babu is busy filming his upcoming globetrotting project with the legendary S.S. Rajamouli. This pan-India film promises to be a grand spectacle. Venkatesh, after his last outing in “Saindhav,” is reportedly working with director Anil Ravipudi on a film titled “Sankrathiki Vasthunnam.”
