Mahesh babus spyder hit the screens on 27th sept. Murugadoss is the director for the film. And Rakul Preet plays the lead role. Despite of all the hype the film didn’t do well at box office. 125crs budget is used for this film completion. The film is out in three languages Telugu Tamil and Malayalam. The film unit were very confident that the film would receive more than 250crs profit in all the three languages. But the tables turned after the release. This film have got a flop talk in Telugu. Spyder is receiving average rate of collections both in Tamil and Malayalam. The distributors of the film have got a huge loss.
Mahesh is keen on making a massive debut in Tamil so that he can establish firmly over there. Akshay Kumar is opted for the dubbing to the role of mahesh . but later mahesh thought that they should think later about the Hindi version once the first copy is out. the reason for this decision is that the makers were not sure if it would be able to generate enough curiosity in the Hindi markets.The makers are waiting for Mahesh’s decision about the release of the Hindi version of Spyder. Mahesh received many interesting offers from Bollywood but the actor never gave his nod. Hence mahesh is quite concerned if Spyder can mint massive figures in Bollywood. Some of them say that mahesh took this decision as he got to know that the film will not do well at the time of his dubbing. But people are appreciating his decision.
