Mahesh Babu, the popular Telugu actor, wished filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas a happy birthday on social media. With their new film Guntur Kaaram, the actor-director team—who are also close friends off-screen—is working for the third time. Mahesh wished for a blockbuster birthday for the director in his birthday wish.
In a BTS photo that Mahesh shared, Trivikram and the actor are seen laughing together and enjoying a lighthearted time. “Wishing our talented director #TrivikramSrinivas a blockbuster birthday and a spectacular year ahead!!” is what Mahesh said in the post. Other directors also wished the filmmaker success.
Mahesh and Trivikram are reunited after a 12-year break, having worked together on Athadu and Khaleja. It is said that their next movie, Guntur Kaaram, will be a masala action entertainment. Mahesh Babu recently revealed his outfit from the movie, showing off his swagger while rocking a shirt and kaili—a Southern term for a lungi—along with some shades. Given that Mahesh is depicted smoking on the image, several fans weren’t like of it.
Later on Tuesday, the first track from the movie Dum Masala is expected to be released. Additionally, Guntur Kaaram is rumored to have struck an 18 crore rupee OTT contract with Netflix. On the other hand, this has not received formal confirmation.
Guntur Kaaram, a rural action-drama directed by Trivikram Srinivas, has Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. In the movie, Jagapathi Babu will appear as a villain once more. Prakashraj, Sunil, Jayaram, and Ramya Krishnan are also included. The soundtrack for the movie, which opens on January 13, is being composed by Thaman.
