Mahesh rejected fidaa movie: Director Sekhar Kammula met Mahesh Babu with a story three years back. At that time he took the time to issue dates to Sekhar Kammula for the movie even he likes the story. Moreover, he waited for exactly two years for his dates and then kept the story before Dil Raju. Dil Raju came forward to produce the film since he liked the story very much. He referred Mega Prince Varun Tej will suit better for the story.
The Fida movie story finally reached to Hero Varun Tej. This movie gave a commercial success to Varun Tej in his career who is waiting for a big success. If this movie is done with Mahesh Babu that may not suit well. Sekhar Kammula without lowering his trade mark made the movie and impressed mass audience too.
