A major accident has rocked the set of Ram Charan’s production venture, The India House, currently being filmed in Shamshabad. The mishap took place during a shoot involving heavy water elements, leading to a flash-flood-like situation that left an assistant cinematographer and several others injured.
What Happened?
According to reports, the crew was filming a high-intensity ocean scene using a massive water tank. The tank, placed near the film set in Shamshabad, unexpectedly burst, flooding the location with gallons of water. The sudden release caused a panic situation as the cast and crew tried to safeguard expensive camera equipment.
A behind-the-scenes video of the chaos, with technicians struggling to protect the gear while wading through water, has now gone viral on social media, drawing attention to on-set safety concerns.
About the Film
The India House stars Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead role, with Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead. Veteran actor Anupam Kher also plays a key role in the movie, which is set in the pre-independence era.
Directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna, the film is produced by Ram Charan’s V Mega Pictures, in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Vikram Reddy.
Current Status of Injured Crew
The injured assistant cinematographer and other technicians were rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Official statements from the producers are still awaited.
