Mamata Banerjee Slams BJP’s “Jumlebaazi” Politics at Assam Rally

Date:

In a fiery address at a public rally in Assam’s Silchar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reassured that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) would not implement the NRC and CAA, criticizing the BJP-led Centre for its focus on “rioting” instead of governance.

Dubbing the BJP government as “jumlebaaz,” Mamata Banerjee condemned their approach, asserting that she remains undeterred by threats. She highlighted Bengal’s tradition of communal harmony and accused the BJP of instigating violence for political gains.

Amid allegations of electoral malpractice, Mamata Banerjee condemned the BJP’s tactics and vowed to confront them fearlessly. She warned against the erosion of democracy under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, urging voters to reject intimidation and uphold democratic values.
