Mamitha Baiju has emerged as one of the most sought-after young actresses in South Indian cinema, and her latest box-office achievement has taken her career to another level. The actress has reportedly become part of three films that crossed the Rs. 200 crore worldwide gross mark within a span of just 29 days.
Popular among youngsters following her breakout performance in Premalu, Mamitha has quickly built a strong presence across Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu cinema. Her latest box-office streak has now added a remarkable milestone to her growing list of achievements.
A Hat-Trick in Just 29 Days
Mamitha’s three-film streak began with Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which released on July 23, 2026. The film reportedly crossed the Rs. 300 crore mark worldwide, according to trade tracking reports, although the makers have not officially announced the final gross. Despite the film receiving a disappointing response, Mamitha was part of the star-studded project.
She then appeared in Suriya’s Vishwanath & Sons, which hit theatres on August 14. The family entertainer went on to achieve a strong commercial run, with the makers announcing a worldwide gross of around Rs. 240 crore.
Just seven days later, Mamitha was seen in the Malayalam film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, starring Nivin Pauly. The movie also turned into a major success and reportedly crossed the Rs. 200 crore worldwide milestone.
A Rare Box-Office Feat
With all three films crossing the Rs. 200 crore mark within 29 days, Mamitha has achieved an extremely rare box-office streak. The delay in Jana Nayagan reportedly played a crucial role in making the unusual three-film run possible.
While the actress is still at an early stage in her career, the achievement highlights the impressive commercial reach of the projects she has been associated with. Her growing popularity following Premalu has also made her a prominent name among young audiences.
With several interesting projects lined up, the next challenge for Mamitha will be to maintain this extraordinary momentum. Whether she can continue this winning run with her upcoming films remains one of the interesting things to watch in her career.
