Masurkar Newton In Oscar Race: Indian films are very far from Oscar awards. There are very fewer films that win in Oscar and can be count by hand. Yet every year there are films from India for Oscar nomination. The Indian Oscar jury has screened 26 movies to send the Oscar nomination this year. Baahubali 2 and Balayya Gauthamiputra Satakarni Telugu movies are there. The latest release of ‘Newton’ in Bollywood is select among those 26 films.
Rajkumar, who played a key role in the movie ‘Newton’, announced via Twitter about this news. Rajkumar post the greetings to all the film unit members, saying that he was happy for being a part of Newton movie which was select in 2018 Oscar race. The story of the movie is about how a simple government employee changes the country’s electoral process and how it was accepted by the central government. In addition to a different story, director Masurkar directed a wonderful screenplay.
