Mayasabha: Aadi Pinishetty and Chaitanya Rao to Play CBN & YSR in Deva Katta’s Political Web Series?
Director Deva Katta, known for his socially conscious storytelling, is returning with a bold political drama titled Mayasabha. After receiving critical acclaim for Republic starring Sai Dharam Tej, the filmmaker is now exploring the intense political landscape of Andhra Pradesh through this upcoming web series.
Reportedly, the series will delve into the lives and legacy of former AP Chief Ministers Chandra Babu Naidu (CBN) and YS Rajasekhar Reddy (YSR)—two of the most iconic figures in Telugu politics. According to industry buzz, Aadi Pinishetty has been cast as CBN, while 30 Weds 21 actor Chaitanya Rao is said to be portraying YSR.
While there is no official confirmation yet, the casting news has already generated significant curiosity among fans and political observers alike.
Mayasabha is said to span 400 minutes (approximately 6 hours and 40 minutes) and will be released as a web series in late 2025. The show is currently in post-production and will be available for streaming on a major OTT platform.
The ensemble cast also includes Saikumar, Nasser, Divya Dutta, Tanya Ravichandran, Ravindra Vijay, Srikanth Iyengar, and Shatru in pivotal roles, further raising expectations for this gripping political saga.
