Missouri Governor Indicted After Sex Scandal

Right from the early independence days, misuse of power has been evident in the Indian politics. Be it corruption, or transfer of bureaucrats, power and politics played the major role. Adding to this, since the 1990’s, incident of ‘sexual abuse’ in the name of ‘power’ is taking place in our nation.
The sex scandal involving former AP Governor ND Tiwari is something no one can forget. Most astonishingly, the sex scandal took place within the Raj Bhavan premises, where the Governor reportedly demanded ‘sexual favor’ from the staff in Rajya Sabha.Even before someone can forget about it, another sex scandal allegation on a governor, from one of the southern state has emerged. Close sources to the government confirmed that A Raj Bhavan woman employed sent a ‘confidential’ letter to the Home Minister’s office, alleging that the Governor of ‘that state’ has committed a sexual offense on her. The Home Minister’s office remained tight-lipped on the issue.
Reportedly, an inquiry has already been underway to investigate the charges of sexual offense brought in by a Raj Bhavan female staff. If the central investigation agencies are convinced that charges pressed on the respective Governor are true, he will be forced to resign immediately.Similar charges in Meghalaya Governor V. Shanmuganathan has been pressed, after 100 Raj Bhavan staff turned against him, and complained Pranab Mukherjee, then President.
