As per the latest update, ‘Viacom18’ is planning to make a biopic on the Women Cricketer Mithali Raj. Viacom18 produced the films like ‘Queen’, ‘Drishyam, ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ in the past.Tollywood Actress Samantha to act in Mithali Raj Biopic film.

Mithali Raj holds the world record for highest runs in ODIs in women’s international cricket. The captain of Indian Women’s team has surpassed the 6,000 run mark in ODIs. She is also the first player to score 7 consecutive 50s in ODIs, apart from being the first Indian to lead the national team to an ICC ODI World Cup final twice in 2005 and 2017. Mithali herself announced that there is going to be a movie about her.
