Mollywood Dominates The 65th National Awards Announced

The other day, Shekhar Kapoor lead Jury of 65th National Awards has announced the results of winners for the year 2017. Guess what, more than any Film Industry, Mollywood has shown its stamina by bagging more awards than expected. The list of winners from Malayalam Film Industry is as follows.
If there is any Industry which always tries new and out of box concepts in India, it is Mollywood and it can be accepted by any movie lover. From suspense thrillers to thought-provoking drama, Mallu films make their mark across the Nation. Films like Chandramukhi are originated from Kerala makers. The flick Puli Murugan grossed 100 crores which is huge for a small market like Mollywood and its soundtrack got nominated for the Oscars. Now in the 65th National Awards, Mallu Industry people made their mark by winning multiple awards. The number exceeds the cumulative total of Tamil and Telugu Industries.
The superhit flick Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum won many awards in different crafts. The producer Dileesh Pothan who bankrolled this flick got the best film award along with the actor Fahad Fazil who won the best performer award. Writer and screenplay writer Sajeev Pazhoor won the best screenplay award and also the main actress has won the best actor female award. The stalwart director Jayaraj has won the best director award for the blockbuster Bhayanakam.
Shekhar Kapoor has hailed the Mallu Industry to Sky for their impeccable contribution to the Indian Film Industry. The jury hoped to see more different flicks from Mollywood thereby encouraging them by giving awards.
