Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his 39th birthday at a beautiful resort near Jawai Dam in Rajasthan’s Pali district along with his rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt.

Bhatt, in fact, posted the picture of the venue sitting on the banks of the dam and wrote “Happy birthday My Life.” Alia’s mother Soni Razdaan also joined them on the occasion.

The couple landed in Jodhpur three days back and since then have been travelling at different locations. The two were seen enjoying at Jawai Leopard hills.

The love birds, sources said, are searching for a perfect wedding destination for their much-awaited wedding.

Rashmika Mandanna’s first look from ‘Pushpa’ unveiled

The first look of actress Rashmika Mandanna from multi-lingual film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was revealed on Wednesday.

The actress is seen sitting on the ground with an intense expression as she gets ready in front of the mirror.

This is the first time, that Rashmika will he paired with actor Allu Arjun for a project.

The actress unveiled the look as she introduced the name of her character: “Srivalli”.

Producers Navin Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers say in a joint statement: “Rashmika will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in Pushpa. She has left no stone unturned to get into the skin of the character. Pushpa’s unconventional love life revolves around Srivalli and it is going to be interesting for the audience to watch her create magic on screen with this character.”

‘Pushpa’ revolves around the red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra Pradesh.

The film will be releasing in two parts and the makers recently announced that the first part will be released on Christmas.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar says she wants to do films that portray women correctly and she is thankful to the directors she has collaborated with because they shared the same vision for societal change.

Bhumi started her journey in Hindi cinema with the hit film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ in 2015. She was then seen in films such as ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Son Chiriya’, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, ‘Bala’, and ‘Sandh Ki Aankh’ among others.

The actress is now looking forward to her upcoming line up, which includes ‘Mr. Lele’, ‘Badhaai Do’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’.

The actress said: “I have always been super confident of my film choices. I have always wanted them to be different and unique, preferably with a message and most importantly, portray women correctly.”

Bhumi added: “As a woman, I feel it is my duty to choose scripts that portray women with a lot of dignity. I’m happy that I have got the chance to play such characters due to the fantastic scripts that have come my way.”

The actress feels “hugely fortunate” that she have got directors who had an amazing vision of portraying women in a certain way that impacts society positively.

She said: “I’m fortunate for all the opportunities that allowed me to play such characters who stood up for themselves and society. I connected with my characters at a deeper level and maybe that’s why people loved them too.”

“For that, I’m indebted to my directors and producers who saw me as fit to represent such modern Indian women on screen.”

The 34-year-old forward sparked in the 74 minutes, running the ball into the front and after a good one-two with Kylian Mbappe, he found the net with his iconic left-foot strike.

The goal sent the packed Parc des Princes into raptures with deafening roars hovering over the stadium and the crowd chanted by the scorer’s name, Xinhua reports.

“It was a perfect night against a great opponent. For us, it was very important to win this game after Brugge,” said Messi, who has played three matches for PSG before this week but failed to open his scoring account.

“I am very happy to have scored. I haven’t played much recently,” Messi added. “I am adapting little by little. What is important is to keep winning.”

It was Messi’s 121st goal in the Champions League and 27th in 35 appearances against the English teams – far more than any other player. With this goal, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored in 17 consecutive Champions League seasons, equalling a record set by Karim Benzema just minutes earlier in another clash.

“I’ve spent 20 years watching him score goals from the other side of the opposite pavement and it’s the first time he scores for a team I manage so I had to celebrate,” PSG’s head coach Mauricio Pochettino said.

“You need this type of performance and players like him need to feel the back of the net. He needs to create links within the team after 20 years in Barcelona. He’s feeling different things, there’s a lot of new feelings for him.”

French midfielder Idrissa Gueye put the hosts ahead only eight minutes into the game. Mbappe dribbled from the right and Neymar missed his cutback, but Gueye appeared in the right place and fired the ball into the top corner.

Pep Guardiola’s side was close to an equalizer in the 26th minute but Raheem Sterling’s header was refused by the bar and Bernardo Silva’s shot hit the woodwork again.

“They can take the space, they are exceptional players, like Messi-Suarez-Neymar at Barca,” Guardiola said after the match, which was City’s first Champions League group defeat since September 2018, when they lost 2-1 to Lyon, before an 18-game unbeaten run.

Seydoux said: “It’s also because Daniel created a character with more depth, as well… He changed the part of James Bond. I think he managed to create more empathy with his character. Now: Bond is not what he used to be like: a misogynist.”

Cary Joji Fukunaga has directed the movie after original director Danny Boyle left due to creative differences and the American filmmaker said that he had little time to think while working on the film.

Actor Kartik Aaryan unveiled the first look and motion poster of his upcoming film “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2” on Tuesday. The film will release on March 25, 2022.

The actor uploaded it on his Instagram page, where he is seen in the get up similar to that of Akshay Kumar’s in the 2007 instalment of the film.

Kartik in seen in the get-up of a sadhu, sitting atop a building with a dark undertone in his surrounding and crows around him.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”, is directed by Anees Bazmee and stars Kiara Advani.

Aakanksha Singh to play a cop in web series ‘Escaype Live’

Actress Aakanksha Singh is all set to play the role of a cop in the upcoming tech-thriller web series “Escaype Live”.

The actress has reportedly trained for three-four hours every day to get the right posture and body language for the role of a cop.

Sharing her experience, Aakanksha said: “I had to really take care of my fitness, as I had to shoot the action sequence just when I was on recovery post my fracture (during the shoot of ‘Mayday’). There was a lot of running and action, and indeed difficult one.”

“My action was designed by veteran action director Sham Kaushal sir. I used real guns to add authenticity to the portrayal. I had a great time and I’m grateful to have worked with him,” she further said.

Apart from the web series, the actress will also be seen in the upcoming Ajay Devgn directorial film “Mayday” where she will feature alongside Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rakul Preet Singh.

Punjabi film ‘Fuffad Ji’ to hit theatres on November 11

The release date of upcoming Punjabi film ‘Fuffad Ji’ was announced on Tuesday. The film is all set to hit theatres on November 11 this year.

The makers announced the release date along with a new poster of the film. The period drama features Binnu Dhillon along with Gurnam Bhullar in the lead.

‘Fuffad Ji’ banks on a comedy of errors in an attempt to set up wholesome family entertainment. Shooting commenced in Punjab in June.

Written by Raju Verma and directed by Pankaj Batra, ‘Fuffad Ji’ also feature Sidhika Sharma and Jasmin Bajwa in pivotal roles.

The film is backed by Zee Studios and K Kumar Studios.

With the big screens opening up, the theatrical release date of several big ticket films have been announced in the past few days.

These include R Madhavan’s directorial debut ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, Akshay Kumar-starrer big budget period drama ‘Prithviraj’, Kabir Khan’s ’83’ featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji-starrer ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, Ayushmann Khurrana-Vaani Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, Shahid Kapoor-starrer ‘Jersey’ and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Heropanti 2’ among others.

Actors Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria-starrer ‘Heropanti 2’ will be released on Eid 2022. It will be released on April 29.

‘Heropanti 2’ was earlier scheduled to release on May 6, 2022. The movie will have a face off with the Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘May Day’ at the box-office on April 29, 2022.

Tiger took to Instagram to make the announcement. He also shared the first poster of the film.

“Happy to announce that our film #Heropanti2 will be releasing in theatres near you on Eid 2022! Agli Eid bitayenge aapke saath #sajidnadiadwala@khan_ahmedasas @tarasutaria @nawazuddin._siddiqui @arrahman @rajat__aroraa @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson,” Tiger wrote as the caption.

Choreographer-director Ahmed Khan will helm the film. He has earlier directed Tiger Shroff in ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Baaghi 3’.

‘Heropanti’, released in 2014, marked the debut of Tiger and Kriti Sanon.

Sajid Nadiadwala, who produced the film, will also produce the sequel.

SRK, Deepika head to Mallorca to shoot a song for ‘Pathan’

Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are jetting off to Mallorca to shoot for a song for their upcoming movie ‘Pathan’.

“The aim is to make ‘Pathan’ a visual spectacle that no one has seen before and Siddharth Anand (director) and YRF is leaving no stone unturned to achieve this ambitious goal,” said a source.

“‘Pathan’ team heads to Spain where they will be shooting in a grand destination like Mallorca, Cadiz and Vejer De La Frontera.”

The source added that the team will be in Spain from October 10-31.

“No other Bollywood film has ever shot in these places so audiences, who haven’t been to these expensive and exquisite places, will see them for the first time. Visually these settings will add grandeur and lavishness to the film,” the source was quoted as saying.

Shah Rukh and Deepika will be presented in a never seen before manner in this song.

“When you have two of the biggest superstars of the country, you have to create a visual extravaganza like never before and the makers want to do justice to the pairing they have in ‘Pathan’. It will be a sensational shoot to say the least,” said the source.

‘Pathan’ also stars John Abraham. Other details about the movie are still under wraps.
