Jr NTR himself took to social media to confirm the delay, putting an end to all speculation. The film has been pushed by nearly a year and is now locked for June 11, 2027 — meaning the project will take close to four years from its announcement to finally reach the big screens.
Birthday Treat for Fans
While the postponement has understandably left fans disappointed, there is a silver lining. Jr NTR announced that the film’s first glimpse will be unveiled on May 20, 2026, coinciding with his birthday — giving fans something exciting to look forward to in the meantime.

The announcement poster has already set the internet on fire. It presents Jr NTR in a rugged, warrior-like avatar — muscular build, thick beard, and a razor-sharp, intense expression — strongly hinting at a massive action spectacle in the making.
Produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the film features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead, with Ravi Basrur composing the music. The project is currently being referred to as Dragon, and expectations are only growing with every passing day.
